What Your Explosive Child Is Trying to Tell You: Discovering the Pathway from Symptoms to Solutions
Product Description

From the author of The Defiant Child comes the first book to connect From the author of the groundbreaking The Defiant Child comes the first book to connect explosive behavior—when kids go from Jekyll to Hyde and back in the blink of an eye—with its underlying causes

Does your hitting, kicking, screaming child explode with so little provocation that you can’t help but wonder if he’s possessed? Are his extreme Tantrums becoming the stuff of playground legend? And are you about to lose your job because his daycare or school repeatedly asks you to pick him up early?
Dr. Douglas Riley’s ear-to-the-ground insights will give much-needed help to desperate parents who have one overriding question: Why does my child act like this? This compassionate yet no-nonsense therapist explains that explosive behavior is the mere tip of the iceberg. Instead of using a one-size-fits-all strategy, Dr. Riley identifies the eleven most common causes of explosions and accordingly tailors his treatment strategies to address the underlying cause of the behavior.
What Your Explosive Child Is Trying to Tell You is a lifeline for parents who are at their wits’ end.

DR. DOUGLAS RILEY is a clinical psychologist whose practice focuses on children and adolescents who are explosive, oppositional, depressed, or have difficulties with concentration and learning. He is the author of The Defiant Child: A Parent’s Guide to Oppositional Defiant Disorder as well as The Depressed Child: A Parent’s Guide for Rescuing Kids.

No more stress - 33 simple tips for being a cool, calm mom!
Product DescriptionI have been inspired to write this eBook „No more stress’
because I believe that most moms out there would love to
be one! I think we all know a mom who (from the outsiders view)
who seems patient, tolerant and totally in control of her kids.

We find ourselves asking “Why does my child throw a
whammy when it’s time to leave the carousel and theirs
doesn’t?”, “How does she seem to have her kids in bed
by 7pm without any problems?”. Chances are, she doesn’t
but she may still be cool calm and collected.

This eBook is designed to give new moms and second, third
and fourth time moms an insight into what the cool and calm
mom does to have better behaved children and a harmonious home.

What would you do if you had a 17-year old daughter who still threw tantrums in public?

Published by admin on December 30, 2011

If she doesn’t get what she wants or things don’t go her way she throws a fit and gets so angry even if its in the middle of a public place. She’s beautiful and a little princess, but what should I do about her Tantrums and anger issues?

Ha ha ha, a little princess? I doubt it. She sounds more like a little grinch. Quit coddling her and she she will stop banging on her highchair. Being a princess is highly overrated.

How can I help my friend stop being sad?

Published by admin on December 30, 2011

My friend has a lot going on. Her parents won’t stop arguing. Her dad is a jerk who isn’t a good father. He’s the type of father who tells her she’s a screw up once a week or so. Her mom has talked about leaving him but she never does. She ends up finding an excuse in the end. This is really depressing my friend and I totally understand why but I don’t want my friend to be sad. What should I do to help her?

Well in my opinion, all you can do is be a good friend and be there for him/her through this rough time. I mean there’s really nothing else you can do but just be there for him/her.
