What advice would u give to one who wants to help a teen involved with drugs & has a parent who insists on?

being the "victim" & does nothing to address the fact that her kid is stealing and doing drugs? The mother claims "shes tried everything but nothing works", when really shes done nothing!

There is quite a bit missing from your question. Is the teen still in school?
If so, there are counselors that can help you and the teen.
Don’t be too hard on mom. She has probably gone through more than you really know. It is hard being the parent of a teen on drugs.

    I am a drug addict myself so my advice would be talk to the person in question and try and get an answer as to why he is choosing to lead a life involving drug use and if he is willing to talk and wish’s to get help why not be a good friend and spend abit more time with him and even help him get some help from drug services such as KCA (Kent Council Addiction Center) they have ones through the UK and most other countries.
