First of all, he does this on purpose. I saw him live with Billy Joel TWICE, and he did this both times. It’s for effect. He’s the greatest performer I’ve ever seen live. Hands down. No, this is important, because we always hear about what Bernie an others call “Elton’s little moments,” when he throws a hissy feet and storms off, flips his wig. But there’s no good video of it ever, so it’s a curiosity for fans, which is why this title gets hits. But it’s a lame example of a fit. The sound quality is lousy and might have sounded that way to Elton at that moment too.

I think it had something to do with the amount of echoing going on. But He is a great crowd pleaser a couple of years go I went to one of his concerts and a couple of seconds into a song (I can’t remember which one) he stops and makes a popping sound. Like when you stick your finger in your mouth and then pull back out and makes the pop. Anyway it was really random and funny
