Boy wants to take ballet but his parents say it cost too much and have said no. Should I help?
Published by admin on September 2, 2010(This is for my nephew) I have offered to pay for everything, his outfits, shoes, classes even recital costume at the end. He is a sweet boy and loves to play with his dolls, dress up and and is very sweet. His mom wants him to but dad is stalling should I just ask him direct so he knows there a way to pay for it so his dreams can come true? He is seven and a delight.
I think that it would be an absolutely wonderful thing if you have the extra money to pay for him. I know that there is a lot of things I would have liked to do before now when I’m on my own, like singing and acting classes that my parents simply could not pay for, and I would have loved for someone to help make my dreams come true at such a young age. Even now I am in college, and I have a professor who has worked on broadway in NYC and loves my voice who has offered his summer intensive to me at a reduced priice knowing I am not wealthy by any means, and even that means the world to me and I will be eternally grateful to him. I think it’s great that you want him to do what he loves and chase his passion. It’s another thing to the little boy because it’s simply not about the money, its about you seeing that he wants this, and he knows that you’re going to be encouraging and helpful, and really supportive of him, and that’s whats going to matter. I definitely think you should do it if you are financially stable yourself
I hope I was able to help!

Why is this in LGBT and not dance? Not every gay man played with dolls and dress up and not every male ballet dancer is gay. I have seen you keep asking this and pushing his gender identification in several categories. You seem to get a joy out of what YOU perceive as his early sign of "gayness". Have you considered the possibility that he may not turn out to be gay? I wonder if you will be disappointed if it goes that way.
