What’s it like to have 2 children close together? (age gap) i’m basically a single mum?

Published by admin on April 30, 2010

I have a 7 month old girl and i am 3 months pregnant with my second, whats it like having 2 children? My partner is in the army and he comes home weekends only so i am basically a Single Mum, will i cope?

The 1st child is the most difficult, the 2nd is much easier, the 3rd is the hardest, and the 4th is a breeze. The reason why is, the 1st children is the one we learn the most from, the second we already know how it works, and it’s much easier because your 1st child is older. The 3rd is harder, because youre learner how to developed a large family, one you get threw that, the 4th child is much easier because youve learnt alot more than you knew with your 1st. Its mother instinct is kicks in the times we need it the most.

Do you think a single dad would rather date another single parent or a woman with no kids?

Do you think a Single Dad would rather date another single parent or a woman with no kids?

I’m a single dad and I can say it just depends. If he and your kids get along well then you’re all set. In fact it might even be an advantage if you both have kids because you have common ground to relate to each other.
Single women may sound like a good choice because they carry no other responsibilities but that doesn’t mean they’ll make a good mate.
As long as there’s harmony with everyone involved then single parents can be together and have a great new family.

Does anyone have any good parenting tips?Especially for teens?

Published by admin on April 30, 2010

Hi,I would love to here from any parents.Who have been there and done that(so,to speak)with their children.I would also like to here tips of what works, when dealing with rebellious teens. As far as getting them to become responsible,cooperative,well-adjusted adults. I also would love to hear anything you would like to share as far as parenting. Wether it be teenagers, kids, babies, etc! And even if it is good or bad,it doesn’t make a difference.Just please share your experiences with all of us.Thank-You!

Coming from someone who was a rebellious teenager, the best thing my mom could have done for me was to let me go. it hurt both her and me, but in the long run i’m a better person because of it. yea, i got into drugs and alcohol, but that had already happened before she let me go! i think teenagers rebel, it’s a phase most of the time! i guess it depends on the age, too. my mom kicked me out at 19, i’m now 25, i got into alcohol & mostly drugs, but, today i’m in the AA program, i’m married and me and my husband have a place together and i have a good health relationship w/ my family………………………………………..

How can I stop my 2 year old from having temper tantrums in public?

Published by admin on April 30, 2010

My son will throw temper Tantrums in public such as in store, etc. He will throw himself on the floor and kick and cry and won’t hardly let me get him up. I put him in a cart in places that have them but some don’t and even if they do there are lots of times he will kick so much that I can’t get him in a cart. It is so frustrating and embarrassing. Any suggestions on how to deal with this behavior?

its terrible twos we all have to go through with it. my daughter didnt go through it but she is 5 and she acts like a teenager lol

Has any little kid said something funny when they felt your baby move?

Published by admin on April 30, 2010

On Saturday my 7 year old sister felt my baby move and she was like "Maybe its just gas!" I thought that was soo funny!!

Have any little kids that have felt your baby move said something funny when they felt you baby move or had a funny reaction?
like moving inside the womb.

My son was very hard to feel move because I am a bit chubby. Though we were at a party and one of my husbands friends daughter who was about 3 kept running up and petting my belly and saying " Hi baby". It was cute.

Also my dog once put her head down on my stomach and my son kicked her. She ran out of the room she was so scared. After that she refused to put her head any where near my stomach.

Parents please help: I feel like no one ever listens…?

Published by admin on April 30, 2010

I asked this in parenting since older and more experienced people would know better than other teens. And please read the whole thing if you are going to answer because I legitimately want help and am not just trying to moan about my life. Thanks :)

I am not trying to be emo or anything but I feel like no one really listens or cares at all. I talked to my parents about the fact that I feel ignored by them because they pay attention to my younger sisters and I feel like I just get shafted all the time, and they totally blew up and started yelling that if I thought they were horrible parents that I should leave or that they would put me in military school or something. I told my mom that she doesn’t really ever listen to me and just brushes me off and guess what, she brushed it off and didn’t listen. My dad never really is happy with anything I do, and I can’t seem to get his acceptance either.

I have two sisters and it seems like both of my parents have their "favorite" of them, but where does that leave me? The only time I really feel okay is when I hang out with another older friend of mine AWAY from the house (I am home-schooled). I don’t want to be horrible to my parents or anything, and I really love them, but how can I get their attention? I don’t want to act out but I don’t feel like I have any choice. The only attention I feel like they show me is negative. How can I get them to notice me? I am 16, by the way.

I’m sure your parents aren’t actually ignoring you as much as it feels. I can sympathize with you though i have 8 siblings. Its a touchy subject to bring up with your parents but try again only focus mostly on you and how you feel not on how you think they are ignoring you all of the time. Say something like i feel like i don’t get to spend any special time with you can we just go do something just the two of us or even three of you if you want to include both parents at once. Even if you family doesn’t have much money you can do something like take a walk with your parent and it will satisfy the craving you have. Just state you would like alone time with your parents. Another thing i would recommend is ask to go to public school or at least out of home schooling. I’m a firm believer in public schools as it gives or forces if you’re shy opportunities for peer interactions a lot more often, it gives you public speaking opportunities, and it helps you see yourself away from your parents. Remember you need to make it about you and how you feel or your parents are less likley to respond positively.
